For Ansul Construction to have responsibility for our construction was a delight. Ansul was the principal contractor involved in a 3000 square foot renovation project as our 5,150 square foot natural food store expanded into a couple of neighboring tenant spaces in our popular shopping center. Throughout the entire project, Ansul did two things which blessed the principal and showed a sincere interest in the welfare of the store. First of all, Ansul acquired a good understanding of what the principal owner was interested in having done and this was owned by Ansul. Secondly, all of the construction was overseen from the principal’s perspective and in many ways Ansul took on an attitude of acting directly in the principal’s best interest. This included an accurate implementation of the principal’s objectives and changes which often involved a generous willingness by Ansul to make on-the-spot changes to the original plans. Also, when the need was seen, Ansul stepped in, on his own initiative, to supervise and monitor the activities of subcontractor’s work for which the store’s management should have taken responsibility. All-in-all, from a good understanding of what the principal’s interest was and a diligence in seeing that all was accomplished to the principal’s satisfaction, the principal was very pleased with the results that Ansul provided. And in further recognition of satisfying the principal’s interest, Ansul did all of this with the determined aim of minimizing the need to close the store.
